The year 2021 turned out to be a breakthrough in terms of numbers and mobile telephony users Total number of SIM cards (including M2M) amounted to 56 6 million This is an increase of 4 4 compared to 2020.

The total revenues of operators in 2021 amounted to PLN 13 4 billion and were by 7.2% higher than in the previous year More than 30% increase in revenues was recorded in revenues from the provision of M2M services Income as part of subscription fees increased by 8.5%.


After a huge increase in total call duration in 2020 this trend decreased by 1.3% in 2021 Mobile users made calls with a total duration of 122 2 billion minutes Statistically there were 3210 minutes for each inhabitant of Poland year, which was 24 minutes lower than in 2020.


The average Pole spends an average of 53.5 hours per month on phone calls.     

Data transmission in mobile networks increased in 2021 by 16 just over 5,900 PB of data was transferred In statistical terms each Pole used 159 GB which is about 23 GB more than in 2020.
